Summer STEM Program at Blackbird Air Park

The Flight Test Historical Foundation (FTHF) supports the Edwards Flight Test Museum and Black Bird Air Park (BBAP) in the city of Palmdale and has developed a summer program to run at BBAP based on the Junior Test Pilot School.  The program is designed for students to learn STEM principles using the aircraft specifications, experiments, and advances at Edwards Air Force Base and Plant 42 in Palmdale.  The curriculum is geared towards students in the 3rd through 6th grade however it is open to all ages wishing to attend.

All students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times as there is no accommodation for day care at the Blackbird or Joe Davies Airparks.

No pre-registration is required and students are welcome to attend for a full or partial day as their family schedules allow.
