Danny Bazzell currently serves as the General Manager for the Flight Test Historical Foundation in support of the Flight Test Museum at Edwards AFB.
Danny previously served as the Military and Veterans Affairs Representative for California’s 21st Senate District.
As the owner of “Danny Bazzell Insurance Services,” from 2003 to 2012 he specialized in commercial insurance and special event risk management and still acts as a consultant to non-profit organizations with regards to risk management. Danny holds a “Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist” (CLCS) designation from the National Underwriter Company and a “Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow” (LUTCF) designation from the American College of Insurance and Financial Services.
In 1995, Danny joined the Edwards Air Force Base Civilian/Military Support Group where he has been a Director with the organization for 11 years and currently serves as the group’s Community Liaison to Edwards AFB, a position he has held for the past 9 years. In addition, Danny served as the organization’s secretary from 2007-2010, vice president from 2010-2012 and president from 2012-2014. During his time with the Civ/Mil Group Danny has also been the Honorary Commander of the 412th Operations Group and the 412th Test Wing.
Danny has a long history of community involvement including;
- Director – Flight Test Historical Foundation
- Treasurer – Kid’s Charities of the Antelope Valley
- President – Palmdale Sheriff Boosters
- Member – Air Force Sergeants Association
- Executive Officer – U.S. Army Brotherhood of Tankers, 13th Battalion (West Coast)
- Co-Founder – “Operation Warm Front”, an annual sleeping bag and clothing drive for the homeless in the Antelope Valley.
A U.S. Army veteran, Danny and his wife, Evangelina, have lived in the Antelope Valley for 26 years. They have two sons, Sean, age 25 and Kevin, age 23. In his “spare time”, Danny is a portrait artist.
